Daily Homework
Monday = Make a hypothesis about
what you think each word means. Study
the spelling of each word
Tuesday = Was your hypothesis
correct? Look each word up in the dictionary or thesaurus. Find a synonym that
means the same as the vocabulary words. Example:
Jovial and happy mean the same thing. Study
the spelling of each word
Wednesday = Write a sentence using the
word. Underline the word in the
sentence. Study the spelling of each
word.
Thursday = With a partner (parent,
sibling or friend) practice spelling each of your vocabulary words and be sure you know the
definition of the words. Study the
spelling of each word.
Friday = Make corrections to your
quiz.
